Yawara sticks.

Traditional simple handheld Yawara. Made from hickory, laminated woods, octagonal stock, Ipe, or white oak. These are also able to be used as simple kubatons for self-defense training. Typically, 4 to 12 inches in length. These are often made from heavy Brazilian walnut or Ipe wood because of their noticeably heavy weight.
