This listing is for Solid Ipe Tanbo Sticks. These sticks are either sold in Pairs or Individually as a single stick. The Ni Tanbo are also known as Kali Sticks or Escrima Sticks primarily used in Arnis style South American Martial Arts. The Tanbo are wielded in pairs or singly. This is an upgrade from common Rattan sticks. These Sticks come in various sizes up to 28".
The materials consist of solid Ipe wood which is twice as hard as hickory. It has a beautiful dark brown color and feels heavy to the hands.
These are much heavier than Rattan or Bamboo sticks, and are excellent for strength training, or very heavy uses.
Each are finished with several coats of Linseed and Beeswax oil, which adds beauty protection and allows the users hands to slip effortlessly up and down the stick, which is required for proper technique.
